This free program is presented and guided by JetBlue’s Corporate Security team.
Concurrently, JetBlue has established a very robust workplace violence/active shooter prevention program for organizations and businesses.
OUR GOAL
To provide recipients with critical school safety information allowing them to prepare for a school violence event as effectively as possible, and to formulate an advance plan striving to ensure the highest chance for safety and survival when faced with such an event.
OUR MISSION
The primary mission of JetBlue’s Safe Schools program is to help protect students and faculty from school-place violence through effective education, preparation, and interactive involvement, with special emphasis on active shooter safety.
OUR TEAM
JetBlue’s 50-person corporate security team offers 800 years of combined law enforcement experience and represents a diverse cross section of agency experience with backgrounds in the FBI, CIA, DEA, ATF, Homeland Security, Federal Air Marshals, as well as state and local police departments from across the country. In an industry ever focused on safety and security, this team works regularly with airport and law enforcement agencies across the JetBlue network, and have become recognized leaders in active shooter/workplace violence preparedness.
